The “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises” Programme 2021-2027 is opening a new procedure, BG16RFPR001-2.003 “Introducing Green Technologies in SMEs”, aimed at small and medium-sized businesses.
The procedure will finance investments in green technologies, circular models and more sustainable processes in enterprises. If your company plans to reduce waste, use raw materials more efficiently, limit packaging or introduce more sustainable products and services, this event is for you.

EVENT
At the event, we will present the procedure in clear language, with practical guidance and real business examples.
We will cover the main questions that arise when preparing a project:
- Who can apply?
- What exactly is funded?
- What costs are eligible?
- What is meant by “green technologies”?
- How can you prepare a project idea that meets the requirements?
- How do you apply through ISUN?
Participants will gain a clear understanding of whether the measure is suitable for their company and what the first steps are for preparing a project proposal.
FUNDING
Minimum grant amount: EUR 77,000
Maximum grant amount:
- micro and small enterprises: up to EUR 300,000
- medium-sized enterprises under the de minimis aid regime: up to EUR 300,000
- medium-sized enterprises under the regional investment aid regime: up to EUR 410,000
Aid intensity: up to 70%, depending on the category of the enterprise, the implementation region and the aid regime.
Projects are submitted online through ISUN.
WHAT IS FUNDED
The procedure supports investments in green technologies in four main areas:
- improving waste management;
- more efficient use of raw materials;
- limiting the use of packaging;
- production or provision of sustainable products and services.
Investments in machinery, facilities, equipment and specialized software are eligible when they are directly related to the introduction of a green technology.
As an additional element, activities for the introduction of environmental standards may also be included, for example ISO 14001, ISO 14006, EMAS or the EU Ecolabel.
WHO THE MEASURE IS SUITABLE FOR
The measure is suitable for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises registered before 31 December 2023 that are planning an investment in more sustainable processes, products or services.
Companies apply individually. No partner or consortium is required.
