About the training

Drones are already a working tool – for inspections, filming, mapping, agriculture and logistics. But to use them legally and safely in your business, you need to know the European rules, the airspace and the machine itself.

DIGIHUB's basic training delivers exactly that: one day of theory covering EU regulations, airspace classification, UAS design and safe-operation rules, and one day of practice – pre-flight preparation, real flights with tasks and post-flight analysis, under the guidance of an instructor.

Seats are limited so that every participant gets enough flight time. The training programme is delivered in partnership with GDR Systems.

What you will learn
1Know Regulations 2018/1139, 2019/945 and 2019/947 and what your drone is allowed to do.
2Read the airspace – classes, zones and flight restrictions.
3Recognise how fatigue, stress and perception affect piloting.
4Understand the aircraft, its control, communication and navigation software.
5Charge, store and transport batteries and the drone safely.
6Perform a pre-flight check, a task flight, landing and post-flight analysis.
