The UNITE project, BG05M2OP001-1.001-0004 is funded by the Operational Programme “Science and Education for Smart Growth” and co-financed by the European Union through the European Structural and Investment Funds.
During the workshop, scientists from Sofia University, Technical University – Sofia, University of Rousse, University of Shumen and University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” Burgas were welcomed by prof. Hristo Bozov – Rector of the University. The attendees were introduced by prof. Sotir Sotirov with the activities of the Southeastern Digital Innovation Hub and in particular with the activities of the METACITIES’ project.
METACITIES’ overall objective is to establish an Excellence Hub for future cities and regions in Southeast Europe, built upon Digital Twins and metaverse technologies, through cross-border collaboration focusing on innovation and engaging all different categories of actors of the Quadruple Helix.
