THE HUB
Mission
Southeast Digital Innovation Hub, or DigIhub, is a NGO joint initiative of organisations from the public, private, non-governmental and the educational sectors in Burgas. 

Our mission is to facilitate the effective transition to digitalisation of the working processes, to support the representatives of the business in the region for the introducing and/or implementation of digital technologies and intelligent systems, and for offering of services with higher quality. 

DigIhub enables the trans-sectoral joint initiatives, workshops, and innovative start-ups. It contributes to the realization of joint projects for digital transformation of the business, which boosts the technological and innovative potential of the region for providing of a wide range of services in the area of tourism, cultural identity, logistic and mobility. 

The Southeast Digital Innovation Hub is part of the European business support network with over 5,000 opportunities for international cooperation.

The Southeast Digital Innovation Hub is Featured on the European Commission’s Innovation Support Platform CMISA.

EDIH DIGIHUB

 
The main objective of EDIH DIGIHUB is to support the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public sector organizations in the Southeastern region of Bulgaria, by providing a wide range of services in the context of regional/municipal strategies aimed at stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs and improving the digitalization of public service delivery.
 

EEN InnoForward

 
In the years preceding the COVID-19 pandemics, the economic growth exceeded 3% annually for 5 consecutive years. Although C-19 cases in Bulgaria were fewer and containment measures less severe than in most affected EU countries, the national economic activity contracted notably by about 10% in 2020.
 

DBAN project

 
The project idea is designed around the concept of establishing a regional blue economy and innovations acceleration network – based ecosystem which supports existing and emerging businesses and business initiatives in the Blue economy sectors, building upon their potential for innovation, circular and bio-based solutions as well as their capacity to contribute to the local/regional sustainable development performance indicators.
 

METACITIES

 
Three place-based innovation ecosystems in Cyprus, Greece and Bulgaria partner together to create an Excellence Hub for Future Cities and Regions in Southeast Europe (SEE). The METACITIES Excellence Hub is a sustainable network that offers a common platform for collaboration, cross-fertilization, and best practices sharing across borders, sectors and disciplines on knowledge production, circulation and use.

Ina Agafonova is Executive Director of Digitalization and Integration of New Technologies Foundation (DINT). She is an experienced executive officer with a demonstrated history of working in the renewables & environmental industry. Strong entrepreneurship professional with a master degree in International Economic Relations and second master in Ecology. Skilled in negotiation, business planning, strategic planning and business development.

Georgiev

Chairman
Petko Georgiev is the initiator and chairman of the ICT Cluster – Burgas. He has been working in the field of information technology for nearly 10 years. Part of Cluster’s successful initiatives are providing free training for students and IT talents and attracting some of the largest IT companies in the city of Burgas. He is responsible for the creation of startup ecosystem and modern business and conference conditions in the region.
