Southeast Digital Innovation Hub – Digihub celebrates its third year of operation. On this occasion, we would like to take this opportunity to present the progress we have made in driving digital transformation in the South East region. Our one-stop services provide SMEs and the public sector with access to the right experts, advisors and IT solution providers, both here in Bulgaria and in other European countries.
We are proud to be part of the European Network of Digital Innovation Centers and have played a key role in the development of the National Strategy for Regional Development as well as the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the Region (2021-2027). We are also actively involved in the development of the innovation strategy for smart specialization and its regional aspects (2021-2027).
Our organization has undertaken several innovative projects, including EEN InnoForward, DBAN and METACITIES, with the aim of transforming the South-East region and improving the quality of products and activities of companies in it. We have already received approval from the European Commission as a European digital innovation hub and the submission of documents for the construction of a national network of 12 digital and innovation hubs under the first procedure by PNIIDIT is pending. This new network will provide specialized services to businesses in the areas of digitization, artificial intelligence and cyber security, creating new opportunities for economic growth and development.
On this special occasion, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our board members, stakeholders and everyone who has supported us throughout our journey. Without their unwavering support, we would not have achieved the success we have enjoyed over the past three years.
