Southeast Digital Innovation Hub (Digihub) is excited to announce the launch of a new digital platform, Blue-Growth.net, as part of the Digital Blue Acceleration Networks (DBAN) project. This initiative, in collaboration with the Burgas Municipality, International Business and Economic Development Center, and the Odesa State Agrarian University, aims to accelerate the development of the blue economy.
As part of DBAN’s innovative ecosystem, Blue-Growth.net encourages innovative business ideas in the blue economy sector, fostering knowledge transfer, promoting new productive and technological ideas, strengthening cooperation between research and education institutes, and facilitating local industry growth. It’s an effort to boost the skills, knowledge, and create sustainable jobs in the blue economy.
To commemorate this milestone, Digihub, alongside project partners, will host the Burgas Blue Summit and Innovation Expo from July 21 to 23 at the Flora Exhibition Center. This event will convene politicians, researchers, business representatives, and other key stakeholders from the Black Sea countries to engage in meaningful dialogues, partnership-building sessions, and practical workshops related to the blue economy.
The chairman of Digihub, Mr. Petko Georgiev, will present Blue-Growth.net during this event. A platform designed to provide solutions and opportunities for entrepreneurs navigating the blue economy landscape. Now open for registration, it offers an ideal space for collaboration, innovation, and growth within the blue economy.
Ms. Ina Agafonova, a Digihub board member, will also offer a presentation on the European Entrepreneurship Network (EEN) and its 15-year journey of supporting businesses with international ambitions.
